I noticed a dangling wire with a connecter on the end of it underneat my passager seat. I have no idea what it coud be used for, and I hope it's something that is unconnected.

Any clues? Anyone have the same situation?

I took my car back to the dealer to get that checked and the service guy told me that it is a diagnostic plug in. This is one point where they plug in the computer to take readings. I am planing to zip tie mine up in there since it hangs out behind the seat for the rear passenger person to step on.

isnt' that the computer they hook up that changes the codes in your keys to work the ignition?

I also have one in the front grille by the radiator just-a-hangin. I do mean hangin. I hope it is a diagnostic port of some type. Anyone know?
