ok under the car there is a piece that hangs down touchin or just missing the fround. its pretty big i havnt taken a look because i only notice it as my dad drives away. what is it? any ideas? should i take it off or do i need it.

its a piece of plastic that protects your good stuff under the hood from the bad stuff on the road. a lot of people have had this problem. i left mine the way it is for now. no big deal.

yeah, on my passenger side it's hangin' a lil, one of those plastic push-pin type of bolt things fell out i guess.........

if you're talkin about what I think you are, I've takin a few chunks out of mine going over speedbumps, it's probably guarding something important...like the oilpan...so i try not to do it too much
