Hey Everyone,

I was tightening a bolt on my valve cover and i torqued it too tight causing the head to snap off. I am looking for the easiest way to remove this, i bought a screw/bolt remover kit but i cant even fit a drill in that area, it just hits the firewall. Can someone suggest an easier way to get this out? Thank you in advance!

I have a 2001 Altima that I had snapped 3 valve cover bolts on. Had to drill out the first two and re thread them. The 3rd was so bad I had to drill completely threw and re thread it with a nut and bolt combo 馃槄... whatever the hell works I guess. It's still holding up fine. But yeah get a drill extracting kit. YouTube a couple videos theres a few I found.

^^Useful info but OP's problem is that back bank is right in against the firewall and difficult (probably impossible) to get a drill into. The only thing I can think of is to remove a lot of parts, unbolt the mounts and tip the entire engine forwards to get at it.
