Hi all, after a hard rain I had a couple inches of water on the front driver side floor. Put new molding on both sides. Could it come in anywhere else? Same ? for the trunk. I think I'm goin to replace that seal too. Any ideas? Thanks, rj

no sunroof. is it ok to run the car with the heat on to dry the floor? I don't know how long it will take. only half the carpet is wet. I sponged out most and I'm gunna use a wet vac for the rest.

For the trunk, check the sealant around the tailights. That's a known spot for leaks, especially if you've changed your tails.

mine leaked hella after i put on my Se-l's. so i had to use the supplied sealent...

Chris, as a matter of fact, I just had the taillight replaced. What kind of sealent shoud be used and where does it go? Thanks

make sure the molding is in right.. that's the source..for the back, its the tail lights... a black silicone sealant is good.

Victor, I'll have it sealed. You wouldn't think all that water could come in through the light. I had about two inches in the well where the spare is. Those drain plugs came in handy.

I used silicone. I just coated the hell out of my taillights and I never had a problem.

Any kind of sealant will work. Just cover around the dges real good.
