Just got done changing my front brake pads I now have just over 70XXX miles on my Altima. I decided to try out a set of these Akebono premium brake pads. I also made sure to grease my caliper slide pins and all contact points between the brakes and clips.
Just took my newly purchased (two weeks ago) 2016 Altima back to the dealer for transmission issues. Experienced lots of jerking & shuddering, hunting for gears and 3 "limp-mode" problems during a trip from Portland, OR to Kennewick, WA. The "limp mode" issues were especially bad, considering I was in town, trying to get it to the shop. Yikes!
Time for new rubber and brakes. 151,XXX on the car now, it will be the last everything for this car. Still considering getting rid of it soon. Still original CVT, haven't had to replace much of anything. Its been a great car.
Took care of a few maintenance items this past week new engine and cabin air filters. Also replaced my bad stock Nissan battery with one from walmart as they have a better warranty than Nissan does, it's a 5 yr warranty with 3 yr free replacement vs only 2yr free replacement with Nissan!
Just got done mounting my kickers into a new vented subwoofer box that my wife bought me for Christmas. I also replaced the H.I.D bulb in my passenger side fog light with a spare 5000k H.I.D bulb I had laying around.
