I got 18's on it now but tink they are too small and want something bigger. thinkin 20's. but i dont know what size tires i should use or what the biggest tire i could use on my 2006 altima.
245/35/20 and a 20x8.5 wheel is ideal. if you are planning on a drop then you dont want to go any wider than 8.5. trust me. you will rub.

20x8 +45mm with 245/35 tires will be fine, no rubbing with or without a drop.

You could as wide as 8.5" with the wheel, but you might get rubbing with weight in the car, bumps, body roll, a drop, etc. You can also get 20x8 +40mm offset, but you will need to get a more narrow tire.

Stock tire messures roughly 26.2" tall.

I run a 245/35R20 they are about 26.8" and don't rub, they also slightly help fill the tire to fender gap a little better.

225/35R20 is almost a perfect match for the stock diameter and messures about 26.2" diameter.

Or you can go with a 245/30R20 and they end up being shorter and messure 25.8".

Aim for a 7.5 inch wide rim if possible . You can do a 8.5 just make sure you get a hight offset. That is key. I believe stock offset is +45mm. I have 20x8.5 with 38mm and I rub. I have 245/35/20 tires. Ive heard of people with the same setup and they say they dont rub, hard to belive. But anyways, make sure you get a high offest to avoid rubbing.

I have tein springs all around.my wheels are 19x8.5 front with 245/40/r19 tires and rear are 19x9.5 with 255/40/r19 tires...i dont rub at all even with 4 people on the back seat...i think the offset and the type of tires is the key for no rub.
