Hi guys, I have a "new" used windshield wiper motor that I'd like to test on the bench using a 12v power supply. Does anyone know what terminals I should be grounding and which to apply 12v to? 1992 240sx.

Thanks, Ryan

why not just test it 'in situ', then you can verify that the limit switches work as well.

From page EL-74 of your FSM

So the pin across from the plug is +12 and the pin below the plug GND (not sure which of the two speeds that will fire up, but the motor will spin so long as you apply power to those two pins. Keep in mind that by doing so, you will most likely leave the wiper unit in an unknown state since the return to rest function is disabled by doing this. So if you install the motor assembly, power it up at least once before putting the wiper arms on!!

No prob! BTW it occurs to me you could just reset the wiper unit by applying power to the terminal directly below the red and beside the blue in the above diagram. That should cause the motor to spin until the transmission is back in the 'at rest' position.
