ever since i put my intake adapter and filter on there has been a major lag or a loss of ecceleration from around 4000 to 6000 rpms when im accelarating quickly. My car already runs rich and i was wondering if anyone has put in a fuel pressure regulator and did it work and how much was it?

i dont think an fpr will help that. nismoalty has that same problem and he has the apex'i safc.

the apex'i safc is like an fpr but better. it has more adjusting capabilities.
and how do you know you're running rich? do you have an a/f gauge?

Running rich under hard acceleration is normal

dont you run lean at high rpms?
