are xtant ams bad? i got a 12'' jl w3 off my friend with an extant 121m i think amp, i have not hooked it up yet...but i have a feeling its a shitty amp because i have never heard anything about them

I know that xtant amps are made more for sound quality than just straight up power, it's a pretty good brand. IMO

Xtant amps are bad ass. While a tad pricy, they are incredibly clean amps. Xtant was started but the head designer at PPI. He got fed up with PPI cutting corners and using inferior parts so he quit and started Xtant.

i went to tweeter car audio here in dallas and they said that not only are they good amps, you can buy one and upgrade it to put out more power

I have 2 of them and they are by far way better than my old ppi's and pheonix golds

xtants are the shit i don't know about them being better than pg but i probably couldn't say no to a good price
