So i recently had to change out the shift solenoids (All 8) because it was stuck in 5th gear, well after doing that its still stuck in 5th gear and whenever i connect my code reader up it still gives a p750 code ( Shift Solenoid A)..So i dropped the transmission pan once again just to double check my work and everything is in its right location, i rechecked all the connection and they were also fine. So i put everything back together and put new transmission fluid back in, Which makes the second time ive filled it up..So now its still stuck in 5th gear and im at a lost of what the issue might be. Now it does have over 230,000 miles on it but the transmission has been rebuild not to long ago, maybe 3 years ago.. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APP

Mine is a 2006 SE and whenever I switch it to manual it shows the number 5 instead of the number 1...And yes mine does have the CVT transmission, thanks for your concern but it doesn't help my issue...

  • The Maxima comes equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 good for 300 horsepower and 261 lb-ft of torque. A continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) with a manual shift mode and D-Step Shift Logic simulated gear changing is the only transmission choice.
now thats straight from the dealership so anymore questions? unless you can help me with me situation then stay off my post, please and thank you, i dont have the time to go back and forworth with you.
