I always get Falken tires. Make sure you get the proper tire size to accomodate the rim size, and I hope you are lowered.

 

Since you are in Florida and do not need all season go with some Continental Extreme Contact DW's, they perform very well and ride very smooth and quiet.

 

I was wondering do i have to have it lowered? Im worried about lowering it cause I bought the GTR concept from bumper for the altima and im worried itll be too low.

Advice?

 

Coilovers would probably be your best best because then you could set the height to where you feel comfortable, or just get a mild drop spring like tein H tech or the eibach sportline

 

And i have to have this for getting low profile tires? Sorry just wondering the concept behind it all haha XD

 

Oh you don't have to but it's f you put low profile tires on anything smaller than a 20" without lowering your car it is going to look funny

 

Very true now that I think about it.... I may boost up to at least 20s if not 22s so low profiles look good.

 

or better yet instead of gussing what has looked best on other altimas of the 3rd gen 02-06 years?? Size wise?

 

Look through the lowered 3rd gen thread you will se alot of people are lowered mostly on 18's and 19's with some people on 20's and 22's

lower your car too. at least with some lowering springs. coilovers are harsh buddy. your car will feel like a race car. though you can ask for softer springs when you purchase a coilover kit. research 1st!

 

What size are the wheels you will be putting your new tires on? "Low profile" is a pretty loose term. What look are you trying to achieve? Do you have an example of what you want your vehicle to look similar to?

 

Hey Guys, Im actually in the process of putting new tires on my car. well tires and wheels. I bought them off a friend a few days ago a set of 4 for $200, anywho, the wheels are Konig and they are 19" and im buying low profile tires which are Kumho, i hear they are pretty sharp. atleast up here in Canada. Im slightly regretting it and will probably have to buy winters for next year but mother nature decidedto dump almost a foot of snow here in calgary last night and im getting every replaced at a friends shop on wednesday so hopefully i can handle as well as my all seasons right now. if anything ill just be taking it slow on the throttle and braking but ya. im pretty pumped. iwas going to drop maybe 2" in front and 3 in Back in the summer time but it all depends how low i can go with the 19" wheels and low pro tires. I'll post some pics.

I hope you are going to drop the front more than the rear.
