^^ that is a good list, also a 14mm deep socket for spark plug changes. Basically a 10mm socket and screw drivers (mostly flat) will become one of your new best friends on these cars.. lol

 

Forgot to add funnels.

 

Duct tape and a sawzall is all I ever need. If you can't fix sh!t with those, then you ain't no stinkin mechanic.

For doing brakes, I prefer using a ratcheting wrench set over a socket set. (notice this is my preference...a socket set or regular combination wrench set will work as well.)

And they should be metric, no English unit hardware on this car.

 

what sizes do you need to replace brake pads?

 

A good 3/8 ratchet set would be a very good idea as well.

-prybar

 

14mm for the pads.

The set I bought came with 10-18mm I believe. It was ratchet on one end and open on the other.

Also another tool you will need is the service manual or a Haynes manual. Service manual is free here. You gotta pay for the Haynes manual.
