I'm looking into getting a Hotshot Cold Air intake soon but I heard Hotshot no longer makes them for altimas! :angry2: I've been seeing them online though at places like www.2kracing.com and www.speedtechnique.com - does anyone know if they're actually still available???

I got in touch with one web-site www.andysautosport.com and they said they deal with Hotshot directly and have no problem shipping them. My question now would be if the AEM bypass valves work on other systems than AEM Intakes...

yes, to the bypass valve, but I heard they fall apart and get in your motor and yes it takes forever to get your intake from hotshot. I bought mine from hotshot directly. I had a claim through paypal with them. Big con****tion. It might be quicker buying through 2kracing etc cause they stock them. But Hotshot intakes are the best we have so pay and wait.

so the famous AEM bypass valves suck......i'll have to contemplate on that one....but what ever it's either worth it or i just take the 5 minutes out of my day to take off the ext. tube to put the old filter on..thanks for the help tho

Yeah but the Hotshot CAI is better in that you get more power.
