Juke front crank seal leaking

I have a 2012 juke with the 1.6l turbo that has developed a front crank seal leak. I replaced the crank seal only to have it begin leaking again. So I figured there must be a small ridge on the harmonic balancer, replaced the harmonic balancer installed a new seal also had to replace the alternator due to it being covered in oil. Initially the leak was fixed. Wife and I took the car to run some errands and after about 30 miles we were stopped at a store and I could smell engine oil burning off. Come to find out the seal is leaking again.

First seal came from federated auto parts, the second seal came from advanced auto parts. It looks like the leaking is coming from around the harmonic balancer where it sits againts the seal.
I am unsure of where to go from here to fix the issue. Should I buy a seal from the Nissan dealer and give that a shot?

Any help is appreciated. Anyone ever run into this problem before?

Thanks
Chris

The harmonic balancer was brand new. I did not replace it with a rebuilt one. The seal was also brand new. Granted both the balancer and the seal are aftermarket parts. I was very gentle when installing both the seal and the balancer.
The seal did hold for awhile and then failed.
Do you think that a seal from the dealer would be better?
Is it worth it to put a little bit of grease on the shaft of the balancer to help with the break in of the seal?

Thanks

If the balancer was not brand new and 'rebuilt' they commonly machine off some OD to get rid of the old seal wear area. It then makes OD too small to seal properly.

If you are doing the work then use a tool that presses at the OD of seal to not impact whatsoever toward the center where your running bore is. If you slightly distort the running bore ID out of flat even a little by impact on one side of it then the resultant plane shift can become an oil pump at rotation to pump oil out of the seal.
