It says that your K&N run wasn't corrected, it says STD. Now your original run, was that corrected?
dont recall if it was corrected or not. I dont know where my original charts are to view them. All I have is what i scanned an have hosted online

My question is why is the wtg low in comparison to the whp? When i dynoed my 3rd gen w/ Y pipe i was producing about 234 wtq to 233whp.

The 4th gen hp numbers are up and supposedly torque too over 3rd gens, but the torque seems low by comparison?

I've seen a 04-06 maxima dyno 250wtq with just a fujita.

It's our camshafts,

They are designed more for mid-top end power. Thats why our power doesn't fall after 6000 RPM like the 3rd gens.

Can you show me that dyno of a maxima making 250 WTQ with just an intake? They dyno on average 220 WHP and 225 Wtq. Must have been an optimistic dyno.

3rd gen Altima's had more torque than power if IIRC. in 2002 240HP and 245lb-ft of TQ.

4th gen is 270HP and 258lb-ft of TQ

^^Yeah,

Remember out 6 speeds give us much better torque multiplication compared tot he 5 speed. Only draw back is you will have to shift one more time in the 1/4. We don't need a ton of torque because our FWD can barely managed the factory torque.

those 2.5 numbers ARE embarassing

The reason that Maxima's torque is high in this dyno video is because the dyno was done in 3rd gear :(

If thats a 6-speed Maxima he should have used 4th gear because that has the closest 1:1 ratio.
