I've heard that only gives you 2 or 3 extra mm and I had some HARD rubbing. I know a little about this and that but know nothing about rolling fenders, can someone explain what goes into that? Thanks

i had some 17' g35 rims w\ sportlines..perfect fitment..just sold them so i'm back on the 2.5 hubcaps right now..currently shopping for new rims =)

i used to have a 3rd gen maxima it i put the stock 17s from the 350 and got rubbing, didnt know that w/ the 18 you could get rubbing

 

2 sets of G35 wheels

17" Sedan (currently on car)

18" Coupe (waiting for rubber on 17" wheels to go bye-bye)

17's fit perfect, even with a drop.
18's will be close because of the offset. I won't go beyond 225/45/18 for those.

I just put a set of 350Z on my '02 Alty, be careful with these, if you go stock rubber (245/45/18 rear and 225/45/18 front) you may experience some serious rubbing in the rear. To fix this problem I switched them around so the 245's are front and 225's are rear, no rubbing at all. You can do a 235/40 on the rear and that may help with rubbing but I am to lazy. I prefer the look of stock and these look awesome IMO.
