I want to know if anyone has removed or replaced the rear deck in their 02 - 04 altima. I want to do some things to it like cut a couple of holes for tweeters & build a baffle for them and i also want to sound deaden the whole metal undercasing. I also want to replace the 6x9's with 6.5's and make a baffle for them so they sit a little higher and firmer.
But the seatbelts get in the way when i try to take it off. Also, i tried to unhook the center brake light and it wouldnt come undone. How do you do that? Or should i just slide the rear deck down the seatbelts toward the rear seats? I guess i could do that and just do the work in my back seat. But damn, that middle brake light wont come undone.
Also, if anyone has replaced their rear deck with something else, i'd like to hear about their ideas.
