Well, I"ve had a problem with my 02 Altima shifting. Basically, from 1st to 2nd under hard acceleration there is a profound thud that takes place. It's not on every shift unless the car is very warm from city driving. Personally I think it'e related to the valve body as per this link http://www.infinitihelp.com/Ownership/Bulletins/Nissan/2004/NTB04-035.htm
Took it to the dealer and the service tech recognized there is a problem of "some sort". He's going to do a throttle position check or some bs but after that he "doesn't know what to do".
Basically, yaa there is a problem and I'm gonna do a half assed assesement of the problem but if that doesn't work...I DUNNO!!!!
I'm still shaking my head at the ridiculous statement of this guy.
It sounds like he thinks I should just keep driving it until it possibly fails and just deal with it. I personally think this is unacceptable.
Where does one make a complaint for something like this?
